Brain Cancer is very close to home for us here at Xtreme Gripz and we are very grateful to be able to help support such an important cause.
In 2016 we lost a cousin to this horrible disease, Kelly fought for the funding of the drug Avastin (which prevents growth of tumours) for not only herself but for anyone else fighting, in her time of illness she was still trying to help others. She was a registered nurse with a masters degree, she was fun, always with a beautiful smile on her face and we miss her every day. Kelly left behind a husband and 2 young boys . We are stoked that with the sales of each beanie we will be able to help to fund such necessary research into saving people like our cousin Kelly from being taken from us far too soon.
